Personal and material benefits in times of peace

The purpose of this article is to present defense benefits that can be imposed on specific entities in times of peace. An analysis of the role of society in the matter of personnel and equipment security of units performing tasks for the country’s security will be made. The regulations in this matter are contained in the Act of March 11, 2022 on the Defense of the Homeland, which repealed the previous applicable act on state defense – the Act of November 21, 1967 on the universal obligation to defend the Republic of Poland. An element necessary for the proper implementation of defense benefits is the appropriate construction of legal regulations in this area, and this must be followed by appropriate action by public administration bodies responsible for state security. These bodies must have the appropriate capabilities to effectively respond to threats. This also applies to private individuals, companies, enterprises and workplaces that will be obliged by an administrative decision to perform the entrusted task or to put their own resources into use.
