ABSTRACT
The article analyzes the breakthrough moments in the history of ilitary art, referred to as the four Revolutions of Military Affairs
(RMA), as a context for the rapid technological development taking place during the defensive war of Ukraine against Russian aggression.
The aim of the work is to present and analyze the dynamics of changes taking place over the centuries, with particular emphasis on
the rapid increase of this dynamics during the Russian-Ukrainian war from February 2022. The main hypothesis of the work is that the
changes taking place on the battlefield since 2022 bear the hallmarks of the fifth Revolution of Military Affairs, and the significance of
these changes is fundamentally important for countries threatened by conflict, such as Poland, the Baltic states, Scandinavia, but also
Taiwan. In order to examine this assumption, using a descriptive qualitative method and, to some extent, a comparative method,
these changes were placed in the context of the four previous RMAs, both scientific texts and those that professionally inform about the
dynamics and specificity of changes in the UAF were analyzed.
